Bird And The Baby Elephant

One day a little bird came to see the baby elephant who was playing in the meadows. “Hey, baby, I have something to tell you, do you have time?” asked the bird.  “Sure, why not? I am listening,” said the baby elephant. “I see you are very young, so I have a warning for you, you should not go deep into the forest as there is a lion out there who attacks elephants. So beware, and stay away from the danger.

“Thanks for letting me know about that lion. I will make a note of it, now can we play together?” asked the baby elephant.

“Sure, why not. Let’s play hide and seek,” said the bird. The baby elephant and the bird started playing hide and seek.  Suddenly, the lion appeared before them. The baby elephant was very scared, but the bird told him to calm down. “You must stay where you are, don’t make any move,” said the bird. The lion walked towards them, but ignored them and went his way. Both the bird and elephant got relieved.

“You did very well, my dear boy. If you have made even a little bit, he would have attacked you. Whenever you are in danger, try to stay calm, that can save your life, said the bird. The elephant thanked the bird for the great piece of advice he received from her.
