A little bird saw a big tiger looking very sad. "Why are you so sad, Mr. Tiger?" asked the bird.
"I'm tired of being a tiger," the tiger grumbled. "I'm going to a mountain to pray to God for the rest of my life. I will become a monk!"
The curious bird tilted its head. "That's a nice idea! What will you pray for?"
The tiger’s eyes lit up. "I'll pray for small animals to come to me every day so I can catch them and eat them!"
The bird couldn't help but laugh. "That's so silly, Mr. Tiger! God already gave you everything you need. You're strong and you can run faster than any other animal. You don't need God to give you food, you can get it yourself!"
The tiger thought for a moment. Then he smiled a big tiger smile. "You're right, little bird! Thank you for helping me see that. I have everything I need to be a happy tiger."
