The Race Of Hare And The Rabbt

I am set to win the race

A horse saw a tortoise in a hurry. "Hey, Mr. Tortoise, where are you going? You seem to be in a hurry," asked the horse.

"Yes, Mr. Horse, I am in a race with the hare," said the tortoise.

"I don't think you can win this race, because you are too slow, and the hare is fast. I have seen the hare hopping far ahead of you," said the horse.

"I know that, but I also know consistent effort pays off," said the tortoise.

You know what happened next! The hare saw a pile of yummy, crunchy carrots on its way and lost control. He gobbled all the carrots, which made him sleepy. He reasoned that the tortoise was a slow animal and that there was still time to take a nap. But the hare slept too long, and the tortoise silently passed him and reached the riverside where the race had to finish. The horse and other animals congratulated the tortoise on winning the race.

When the hare woke up, he started running. But when he reached the finishing point, he saw all the animals congratulating the tortoise.
