It was the first time a tiger had ventured into the countryside village, and his intentions were far from noble. He was there to steal a cow or goat, believing it would be an easy task compared to hunting in the forest.
Hidden near a bush, the tiger waited for sunset.
"Hey, who are you?" a baby dog suddenly asked.
"Oh, dear. I am a tiger. You are a cute one. See, the sun is setting. Go home now," the tiger replied, hoping to distract the little dog. He knew that if the baby dog alerted the village to his presence, his plans would be ruined. However, the baby dog, instead of leaving, began sniffing around the tiger, wanting to befriend him. The tiger, needing to be alone to carry out his plan, impatiently shouted at the baby dog to go home.
This time, the baby dog obeyed and went home. Once there, he informed his father about the tiger. The father dog, in turn, alerted the other dogs in the village. Soon, a chorus of barking filled the air, and the villagers knew something was wrong. The baby dog led them to the bush where the tiger was hiding. Upon finding the tiger, the villagers began pelting him with stones. The frightened tiger ran away but unfortunately fell into a well.
The next day, the villagers returned with a cage. They carefully pulled the tiger out of the well and then sent him to the zoo.
