In the desert, the camel was surprised to see a lion. “Hey, Mr. Lion, why are you here in the desert? Are you hunting in the desert?” asked the camel.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Camel. I am not here for hunting. I lost my way home. Can you please guide me?” The lion who was lost in the desert requested the camel.
“I can guide you, Mr. Lion. Please know that you are under my mercy. If I misguide you, you are dead. Hope you understand that,” said the camel.
“Yes, only you can help me. I beg you to find my way home,” said the lion.
“Then follow me,” the camel said, and it started walking through the sand dunes. The lion silently followed the camel.
The scorching hot sun made the lion tired, but not the camel. The camel was still walking and walking. After some time, when the camel turned back to check on the lion, he was not there.
“Hey, where are you, Mr. Lion?” the camel asked.
“I am here, taking some rest. I can’t walk. I want to drink some water,” said the lion.
“Let me take you to an oasis,” said the camel. The camel guided the lion to a nearby oasis. An oasis is a place in the desert where travelers find water to quench thirst. The lion saw the water and started drinking.
“Thank you very much, Mr. Camel, for guiding me,” said the lion.
Both the animals took some rest in the oasis and started their journey again.
After a few days, the animals reached the lion’s home. The lion was happy to see his home again from a distance.
“Ok, Mr. Lion, now you can guide yourself. Desert is my home, and I am going back,” said the camel.
“I don’t know how to thank you. You helped me from a starving death in the middle of the desert. It was an exciting journey through the desert,” the lion thanked the camel again. They said goodbye to each other. The lion went to the wilderness and the camel back to the desert.
