The Itchy Body

An itchy elephant named Ellie came stomping through the jungle. Ellie had a super big itch on her back, and guess what she saw? The perfect tree to scratch it on! She wiggled her big bottom, then rubbed and rubbed her rough skin against the tree trunk.

The tree began to shake, shake, shake! Stripes woke up with a start! "Oh dear!" he thought, "I'm going to tumble!" He held on tight with all his paws, his eyes wide open. Ellie kept rubbing, making the tree wobble even more.

Finally, Ellie scratched her itch, let out a happy sigh, and lumbered off, trumpeting, "That's much better!"
