The Dog Who Messed It All!

One sunny morning, a friendly dog was trotting by the lake when he saw a big crocodile.

"Psst! Hey, doggy!" whispered the crocodile. "Please don't tell anyone you saw me here, okay?"

The dog tilted his head. That was a funny thing for a crocodile to say! "Okay," said the dog, a little suspicious. "I won't tell." And he walked away, but he was a very clever dog.

Instead of going far, the dog found a big, leafy bush and quietly hid behind it. He peeked out and watched the crocodile.

The crocodile began to sneak, sneak, sneak towards the village. Then, he spotted a fluffy red rooster pecking in a yard.

"Mmm, a tasty rooster for my breakfast!" the crocodile mumbled to himself, a little too loudly.

The clever dog heard him! "Oh no!" thought the dog. He knew he had to warn the rooster!

The dog took a deep breath and barked as loud as he could: "WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!"

The villagers heard the barking and rushed out of their houses with sticks and even a few stones. When they saw the sneaky crocodile, they started to shout and throw the stones!

Splash! The crocodile was so scared that he quickly dove back into the lake and disappeared.

The rooster was safe, and all thanks to the clever, watchful dog!
