The Homecoming

The dog stood on the deck excited to see the land. He is coming home after a long voyage, sailing around the world. The dog saw many lands and people. Now, after months of traveling, the sailor dog is only a few miles away from the port he began his journey.

He embarked on this memorable journey several months ago when he got inside the ship. Actually, the dog looking for his friend. Unfortunately, his friend was on another ship. Before he could come out of the ship, it began to sail. But the ship's captain took great care of the dog, and he became the pet of the sailors.

The dog had an eventful sailing, he went through many chilling experiences. The sea was rough most of the time, giving sailors a hard time to manage the ship. Once, the dog had almost lost its life when a strong wave shook the ship violently. The dog who was standing on the deck thrown into the sea. The dog cried for help. Luckily, one sailor saw that, and with a great team effort, the sailors rescued him from death by drowning or end up inside a shark. Life on the ship taught many things no other dog of his age gone through.

"Hey, I see the land, I see the land," the dog shouted from the ship's deck.

As soon as the ship anchored in the port, the dog ran out of the ship to the comfort of his home.
