The Dutiful Rooster

The rooster wakes up early in the morning to do his job: waking up the countryside with his morning crow. It’s fun to watch the rooster crowing! The sun rises when it hears the rooster’s call.

The warmth of the sun makes the rooster happy and gives him energy for the day. He walks around the yard, looking for tasty worms to eat. After breakfast, he goes to check on his family and care for his children. Spotting the predator eagles flying in the sky is his main duty to safeguard his family. He is truly brave in such situations.

When the sun goes down, the rooster goes back to his tiny home, where he and his family sleep for the night.
