Rescuing A Fish

The flood waters deposited the fish on the banks of a river. The fish desperately wanted to return to the river, but he couldn’t. He was so weak. An elephant came that way saw the fish.

“Hey, what are you doing here? You are supposed to be in the river,” asked the elephant.

The fish told the elephant that the flood waters took him there, and he wanted to return to the river as soon as possible.

“If I am lying here some more time, I’ll be dead,” said the fish.

The elephant felt pity on the fish, took the fish carefully with his trunk and put him in the river. The fish was happy to be alive, thanked the elephant for the kind deed.
