Motherly Love

It was all of a sudden. Before the rabbit mother could do anything, the fox snatched her dear baby from her hand.

“Please, please, give back my baby,” the mother rabbit pleaded to the fox.

“I am not going to give your child back,” said the fox.

“Just then, an old monkey appeared before the fox.

“Hey, bro, I have a bad news for you. Your baby fell from the top of a rock. He is now stuck between the rocks. Go and rescue him fast, or he will die,” said the monkey.

“Hearing about his baby’s accident, the fox left the baby rabbit and ran towards the rock, crying out its baby’s name loudly. When the fox reached the stones, he frantically looked for his dear child. But he saw nothing. He was angry at the monkey who brought the bad news.

“Where is my baby?” asked the fox.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Fox. Your baby is safe at your home. I hope you now understand the pain of a mother when she loses her dear baby. I wanted to show you how important a baby’s life is for its parents,” said the monkey.

“I am sorry, dear. You opened my eyes. I should not have done that to the rabbit,” said the fox.

“It’s ok. Please remember this in the future. May god bless you, my child,” said the monkey, and it disappeared.
