Monkey In The Boat And The Elephant

Jack and Tom’s Banana Boat "Hey, Jack! Where are you headed?" Tom the elephant called out.

"I’m going to go gather some bananas," Jack the monkey replied, waving from his boat.

Tom’s ears flapped with excitement. "I see! I love bananas, too. Would you mind bringing some back for me?"

"Sure thing, Tom! I’ll bring some back for you," Jack promised.

Tom waited patiently all afternoon for his friend to return. As the sun began to set, Jack finally rowed back to shore. His boat was overflowing with big, yellow bunches of bananas.

True to his word, Jack shared the fruit with Tom. Tom was so happy that he let out a loud, joyful trumpet. It was a delicious end to the day!
