Meet Buster, a curious white dog with floppy black ears. One sunny afternoon, while the house was quiet and his favorite human boy was taking a nap inside, Buster heard a strange sound coming from the grass.
Hssst... Hssst...
Buster’s ears perked up. He followed the sound and saw a long, yellow snake slithering toward the open back door. Buster knew that snakes didn't belong in the house, especially not while his friend was sleeping!
Even though Buster was much smaller than the snake was long, he didn't run away. He stood his ground, barking a loud, warning "Woof!" to let the snake know it couldn't pass. Because of Buster’s quick thinking and brave heart, the snake turned away back into the bushes. Buster saved the day and kept his family safe!
