Friendly Cow Of The Neighborhood

Daisy the cow was the friendliest animal in the meadow. She loved to chat with everyone! One sunny morning, she saw Benny the bunny hopping by.

"Hello Benny!" Daisy mooed. "What are you up to today?"

Benny's nose twitched. "Oh, hello Daisy! I'm just trying to find a safe place to hide. Freddy the fox is out and about, and I don't want to be his lunch!"

Daisy knew she had to help. "Come with me, Benny!" she said. "You can hide in the cattleshed. It's nice and cozy in there."

Benny hopped into the cattleshed, snuggling into a pile of hay. A little while later, Freddy the fox came strolling by.

"Have you seen Benny the bunny?" he asked Daisy with a sly grin.

Daisy stood tall and shook her head. "Nope, haven't seen him all day," she said, trying to sound casual.

Freddy narrowed his eyes, but he couldn't see Benny hiding in the shed. He shrugged and went on his way.

Once Freddy was gone, Benny hopped out of the shed. "Thank you, Daisy!" he cried. "You saved me!"

Daisy smiled. "That's what friends are for, Benny," she said. "Now, why don't you stay and have some yummy grass with me?"

Benny happily munched on the grass with Daisy, grateful for her kindness and quick thinking. They both knew that with friends like Daisy around, the meadow was a much safer and happier place.
