Rosie The Rhino's Wedding Day Sparkle

Rosie the rhino was getting married! Tomorrow is the big day, and she wanted to look her absolute best.  Her horn, usually a bit dusty from romping around the savanna, needed a good polish.  Who better to help than Mikey the monkey, the best stylist in the jungle?

Rosie lumbered over to Mikey’s salon, a cozy treehouse nestled in the branches of a giant baobab.  Mikey, wearing a tiny red barber’s jacket, greeted her with a wide smile. “Well hello Rosie! What can I do for you on this fine day?”

“My wedding is tomorrow, Mikey,” Rosie said, her voice a little shaky with excitement, “and my horn needs a good shine.  It has to sparkle!”

Mikey, ever the professional, brought out his special horn polishing kit. He had a tiny bucket filled with soapy water, a soft sponge, and a super-soft polishing cloth. He even had a little bottle of sparkly dust!

First, Mikey carefully washed Rosie’s horn with the soapy water, making sure to get into all the grooves and ridges. Then, he gently dried it with the sponge.  Next came the polishing! He rubbed and buffed with the soft cloth until the horn gleamed.

Finally, Mikey sprinkled a pinch of sparkly dust over Rosie’s horn. It shimmered and sparkled in the sunlight. “Ta-da!” Mikey announced. “Ready for your big day!”

Rosie couldn’t believe her eyes. Her horn had never looked so good! “Oh Mikey, thank you!” she cried. “You’re the best!”

Rosie left the salon feeling like a million bucks (or maybe a million baobab fruits!). She knew she would look absolutely stunning walking down the aisle tomorrow, all thanks to Mikey the monkey.
