One sunny afternoon, Baby Rabbit was happily hopping home from school. As she made her way down the path, a shiny red car pulled up behind her. “It seems you are too tired. Want a lift?” asked the driver.
Baby Rabbit turned and saw that the driver was a red fox. “No, thank you, sir. I will walk,” she politely replied.
“Please get in, it’s a long way to go, and rain is coming,” insisted the fox.
Reluctantly, Baby Rabbit got into the car. To her surprise, she found another baby rabbit sitting inside. Suddenly, the fox locked the doors and sped away.
Meanwhile, at home, Mother Rabbit learned that her child had been taken by the fox. Frantically, she cried for help. Just then, Jingo the Elephant heard her sobbing.
“What’s the matter? Why are you crying?” Jingo asked gently.
“My child has been abducted by the fox,” Mother Rabbit replied, her voice trembling.
“Don’t worry, I am here to help you,” said Jingo with determination. He set off to find the red car.
Before long, Jingo spotted the fox’s red car speeding down the road. He hurried ahead and stood firmly in its path. The fox had no choice but to stop.
“Leave the child at once, or I will crush your car under my foot,” Jingo commanded.
“I’m sorry, sir. I was just giving these little ones a ride,” the fox stammered.
“I don’t believe you. If you want your car back, let the children go,” Jingo said sternly.
Immediately, the fox unlocked the car and freed the baby rabbits. “Now you can go,” Jingo said to the fox.
The fox sped away in a flash. Back home, Baby Rabbit was joyfully reunited with her mother.
“I am so grateful for your help,” Mother Rabbit said to Jingo, tears of relief in her eyes.
“I’m just doing my duty. I’m happy I could help,” Jingo replied with a warm smile before walking away.
