Flying Squirrel And The Dog

The dog went for a nice, slow walk. Suddenly, something caught his eye! It was a little squirrel leaping from one tree to the next. Jump! Jump! went the squirrel.

"Hey, little squirrel, be careful! You might fall!" barked the dog.

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't!" chirped the squirrel. "But this is how squirrels travel! I'm going to see my friend and his family. They live far away in the forest."

The dog watched the squirrel go zip! into the trees and soon it was gone.
