One day, a bird saw a frog leaping. "Hey, what are you doing?" the bird asked.
"I am trying to fly. I want to fly like you birds and see the world outside my pond. I am so bored here," said the frog.
"You don't have to learn flying for that, and you can't anyway. Let me help you see the world outside the pond," said the bird. She flew down to the frog and picked him up with her strong legs. It was so unexpected for the frog.
"Put me down! Put me down!" the frog cried. But the bird flew higher with the frog. The frog looked down and saw the beautiful meadows and mountains. However, he couldn't enjoy the flight because he was afraid of what would happen if the bird released him while flying. After a few minutes, the bird turned around and flew back to the frog's pond. She gently put the frog down in his pond.
"Thank you very much for that flying experience, Mr. Bird. I won't forget what you have done," the frog said.
"You want to fly again?" asked the bird.
"Oh, no. I saw the world and beyond. Now I feel this pond is more appealing to me," said the frog. The bird laughed and flew away.
