Jingo was a very smart young elephant with big, floppy ears and even bigger ideas. One sunny morning, as he munched on juicy leaves near the railway tracks, he heard a rumble. It was the choo-choo train, coming closer and closer!
Suddenly, Jingo saw something that made his big eyes go wide. The railway line ahead was broken! Uh-oh! The train wouldn't be able to go over that safely.
Quick as a wink, Jingo spotted a bright red flag waving on a little stick nearby. He grabbed it gently with his trunk and started to run as fast as his little elephant legs could carry him. "Toot! Toot!" went the train, getting closer.
The train driver, a kind man with a big smile, was looking out the window. Then, he saw Jingo! There was a little elephant on the tracks, waving a bright red flag! "Whoa!" shouted the driver to his friend. "Something's not right!"
They pulled a big lever, and the train started to slow down, squeaking and puffing. Finally, with a big sigh of steam, the train stopped. And guess what? It stopped just a tiny bit away from the broken track! Phew!
Jingo the elephant had saved the day! Everyone on the train was so happy and relieved. They all cheered for the brave little elephant with the red flag. Soon, everyone in town heard about Jingo. The newspapers even had pictures of him holding his special red flag. Jingo, the elephant who stopped the train, became a super-duper hero! He got extra yummy treats and lots of loving trunk-pats for being so clever and quick.
