The Tiger In The Island

tiger and the crocodile
I need help please!

The captivated tiger was being transported to the zoo on a boat in a shimmering lake. Suddenly, thump! The boat hit a big rock and started to sink, glug, glug, glug! In all the commotion, the tiger was freed!

He paddled quickly, his big paws making splashes, and reached a nearby island. He shook his wet fur and looked around. "Oh dear," he thought sadly. "How will I ever get back home? I might just have to stay on this island forever and... and go hungry!"

Days went by. Each day, the tiger would wander to the edge of the island, hoping to see someone who could help. He'd sigh a big, stripey sigh.

Then, one sunny morning, he saw a crocodile sailing by in his little boat. "Hey!" roared the tiger, his voice echoing across the water. "Will you help me?"

The crocodile, who had a friendly smile, steered his boat closer. "Of course, I will!" he called back. "Hop in!"

Carefully, the tiger climbed into the crocodile's boat. The croc paddled steadily across the lake. Finally, the familiar sights of the tiger's home came into view. With a happy rumble, the tiger stepped onto the land. "Thank you, thank you, my new friend!" he said to the crocodile. "You helped me get home!" The crocodile just grinned and waved as he sailed off on his next adventure.
