Flower And The Honeybird

Your honey is so sweet, honey

One sunny day, a little Honeybird was buzzing around a beautiful garden. She loved to fly from flower to flower, collecting sweet nectar. She could hover perfectly still, flapping her tiny wings super fast, and use her long beak to sip the delicious honey.

As she was flying, she spotted a bright, colorful flower. The Honeybird flew up to it and asked, "Hello, can I have some of your honey, please?"

"Of course! It's all yours," said the flower cheerfully. So, the Honeybird began to drink the sweet nectar, and just like that, they became friends. Every day, the Honeybird would visit the flower, and they would spend time together, chatting and enjoying the warm sunshine.

But one day, when the Honeybird flew to her friend, the flower was gone. Instead, there was a new, young flower standing in the same spot.

"Hello," said the new flower. "Are you looking for your friend?"

"Yes," said the Honeybird sadly. "Where is she?"

The new flower gently explained, "We flowers don’t live for a very long time. Your friend is no longer here, but she wanted me to tell you that she loved you very much. She also asked me to take care of you and share my honey with you."

Hearing this, the Honeybird felt very sad. She missed her friend, and little tears began to fall from her eyes. She flew home, thinking about the flower and the lovely friendship they had shared.

But the next day, the Honeybird came back to the garden. She smiled at the new flower and said, "Thank you for being here. I will visit you every day, just like I did with my old friend." And so, the Honeybird found a new friend, and the garden was filled with love and sweetness once more.
