Please tell me something about you. I'm curious

Imagine a giant, gentle friend—that's an elephant!

Elephants are usually very peaceful animals, just like we want to be. But if they think someone is trying to mess with their family, especially their tiny babies, they become very protective. Mama elephants love their little ones, called calves, more than anything and will guard them closely!

Where Do They Live and What Do They Do?

These huge animals are always on the move! They walk hundreds of miles on long journeys looking for yummy food like grass, leaves, and fruit to eat, and a nice, safe place to live. Think of it as a very, very long nature walk!

Two Kinds of Giants There are two main kinds of elephants:

African Elephants: These are usually the biggest ones, and you can often spot them by their very large ears that look a bit like the shape of the continent of Africa!

Asian Elephants: These elephants are a bit smaller, and their ears are smaller too. In some countries in Asia, people have a special connection with these elephants, and they are sometimes included in important celebrations and ceremonies.
