Mama, can we go on an adventure today? Benny, the bear cub, asked its mother, Bella.
“Sure, dear. It’s a sunny day. We can go out and hunt for honeycomb,” said Bella.
Benny was excited about that. Bella and Benny packed a small picnic basket with honey, berries, and nuts. They also took an empty jar to collect honey.
Walking for some time, they spotted a big tree with a honeycomb hanging. Benny sat there, pointing his mother to the honeycomb.
I know what you are thinking of. You are not old enough to climb that tree. Just wait and watch me. I will climb the tree to get the honeycomb. Ok?” Bella said.
Bella began to climb the big tree. Once she reached the top, she grabbed the honeycomb and made a small hole. Honey started flowing from the honeycomb. Benny placed the empty jar to collect the dripping honey. Bella came down the tree. Together, Bella and Benny enjoyed the sweet honey.
Back in their cozy cave, Benny snuggled up to Bella and says, “Thank you for the best adventure, Mama.”
Bella kissed his forehead and whisperd, “There will be many more, my dear Benny. As long as we’re together, every day is an adventure.”
