When The Lion's Nose Turned Red

It was a fine spring morning. The king lion was walking in the forest. The lion was so proud of himself because everybody feared him. "I am the strongest animal in the world," the lion used to boast about his strength to other animals.

Then the lion noticed something strange on his nose.

"Oh, God, what happened to my nose? It turned red," the lion was upset.

Without wasting time the lion ran to the monkey doctor and asked the monkey for a detailed check-up.

"Hello, majesty, I am under your service. Please let me know how I can help you?" said the doctor monkey.

"Hey, doctor, look at my nose. It turned red all of a sudden," the lion said to the monkey.

The monkey doctor saw the red bug on the lion's nose.

"Can you please shut your eyes while I operate your nose to turn it normal again," said the monkey doctor.

The lion shut his eyes tight. The monkey picked the red bug from the lion's nose and threw it away.

"Now you can open your eyes," said the monkey.

When the lion opened his eyes. He was happy when he checked his nose. It was perfectly alright. The king lion thanked the monkey. He even gave him a bunch of sweet, ripe bananas as a token of appreciation and walked away. The monkey couldn't help laughing and told his friends about the surgery he did on the lion's nose.
