The Wild Buffalo and the Yellow Snake

The wild buffalo had arrived there in search of delicious grass to eat. Hearing a "Hiss... hiss..." sound, he looked around and spotted a yellow snake right there!

"If you take one more step forward, I will strike you hard," the snake said. "If I bite you, you will die!"

"Oh dear, I didn't know you were there. Please forgive me," the wild buffalo said, turning around to walk away in fear.

But then, the snake called him back: "Hey wild buffalo, you are permitted to graze here as much as you like. If you had lost your temper after hearing what I said, I wouldn't have allowed this. You are a good creature. Let's be good friends!"

The wild buffalo was overjoyed. He ate plenty of delicious grass that day.
