Mother hen was searching for the kitten. She is very angry. She flapped her wings and made a loud "Kluck, kluck..." sound asking the kitten to come out of the cat house.
But the kitten sitting up on the roof wasn't scared at all. Twirling his whiskers, he looked down at the mother hen, mocked her, and said, "Meow... I won't come down!"
Just then, the little chicks who were hiding in the grass slowly poked their heads out. Emboldened by their mother's presence, they all started chirping together, "Cheep... cheep..."
"If you ever come back to scare my babies again, I will peck you right on the nose with this sharp beak!" the mother hen said furiously.
Seeing the mother hen's anger and the commotion raised by the chicks, the kitten realized things were getting risky. He was genuinely afraid of the mother hen's sharp beak. Finally, he quietly scrambled down the other side of the roof, jumped to the ground, and ran away as fast as his legs could carry him!
Happy to have chased the naughty cat away, the mother hen and her chicks happily walked back into their house together. And with that, the day's commotion finally came to an end!
