The Dinosaur Elevator

"Who is on my tail?" the dinosaur asked as he turned around. It was a giraffe! The dinosaur burst into laughter. The giraffe had accidentally stepped on the dinosaur's tail while it was resting on the ground. When the dinosaur suddenly lifted its tail, the giraffe was lifted right up with it.

"Oh no! Put me down!" the giraffe cried out, trembling in fear. Reaching such a height, the giraffe’s long neck looked like it was about to touch the clouds.

The dinosaur slowly lowered its tail and placed the giraffe back on the ground. Then, he asked, "My friend, why were you standing on my tail?"

The giraffe scratched his head sheepishly and said, "Well... I was trying to reach some ripe leaves on a high tree branch. When I saw your tail lying on the ground, I thought it was a large tree root! I'm so sorry, friend."

Hearing this, the dinosaur started laughing loudly again. "Well, that worked out just fine. Let's be friends. You won't have to struggle to eat the leaves at the very top anymore."

And so, the tallest giraffe and the heaviest dinosaur in the forest became close friends. From then on, whenever the giraffe wanted to eat the leaves from the highest branches, he would stand on the dinosaur's tail, and the dinosaur would gently lift it up to help him!
