The Frog Who Comforted an Elephant

That was a nice song

A frog noticed a baby elephant by the riverside, looking sad and weeping.

"Hey, little one, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" the frog asked.

"I miss my mother," the baby elephant sniffled. "She crossed the river to get some sugarcane for me. I love sugarcane; it tastes so great! But she hasn't come back yet."

"Don't worry, little one. She'll be here any minute. Until then, I'll keep you company. I can sing a song for you," the frog offered kindly.

The frog began to sing a cute, lilting song for the baby elephant. The song was about a smart baby elephant who loved to help others. The baby elephant was cheered up by the frog's kindness. Soon, his mother returned, carrying a large bundle of sugarcane in her trunk.

"Hey, look! Your mother is coming!" exclaimed the frog.

The baby elephant was overjoyed to see his mother and even happier to receive the sugarcane. The mother elephant thanked the frog for keeping her baby company.
