"Oh, little bunny, please don't be scared!" said the big, kind fox. "I'm not here to play chase, I promise. My little baby fox is missing, and I'm so, so worried. Everyone says you're the cleverest detective in the whole forest! Can you please, please help me find my precious baby?"
The little bunny, whose name was Rosie, twitched her nose. "A missing baby? Oh dear! Of course, I can help! Let's see... To be the best detective, I need to ask some super-important questions about your little one. What color is your baby? What did they like to do? Where did you last see them?"
So, the mommy fox told Rosie everything. They looked high and low, under bushes and behind big rocks. Finally, Rosie the detective bunny sniffed out a clue! "Look!" she whispered, pointing with her tiny paw.
High up in a friendly old tree, between some twisty branches, was the little baby fox! It had tumbled while playing and couldn't get down. Mommy fox carefully, oh so carefully, reached up and gently scooped her baby out. The little one was safe and sound!
The whole fox family came to thank Rosie. "You're the best detective ever!" they cheered. Rosie just wiggled her nose and felt very proud. It was a happy day in the forest, all thanks to a brave little bunny and a kind mommy fox!
