The Bear Who Loved Butterflies

There once was a baby bear with a big, round belly and a nose that was always twitching. The baby was funny and cute. He loved many things: the taste of sweet honey, the feel of soft moss under his paws, and the way the sun warmed his fur. But most of all, he loved butterflies.

He would spend his days in the meadow, watching butterflies flutter and dance from flower to flower. He saw butterflies with wings like sunshine, some with spots like fallen dewdrops, and others with stripes like tiny rainbows.

One sunny afternoon, a big, colorful butterfly with wings like the summer sky landed on his nose. He held perfectly still, not even daring to twitch his nose, so the butterfly wouldn't fly away. The butterfly tickled him with its tiny legs, and he giggled a happy little bear giggle.

The butterfly stayed on the bear nose for a moment, then fluttered away, but the bear knew it would be back. Every day, the baby bear and the butterflies would play in the meadow, and he would share his most treasured secret: that he loved them more than anything else in the world.
