The Speical Award

One sunny day, a fox met a donkey in the forest. The fox had a big smile on his face and said, “Hello, Mr. Donkey! I have exciting news! The Lion King wants to meet you. He thinks you’re the best donkey in the forest and wants to give you a special award!”

The donkey’s eyes lit up with joy. “Really?” he asked. “That’s amazing! I would love to meet the Lion King!”

So, the unsuspecting donkey followed the fox deep into the jungle. They walked and walked until they finally reached the Lion King’s den. The lion was sitting there, waiting for them.

The lion was impatient. “Why are you late? I am so hungry to eat the donkey meat you promised,” the lion roared at the fox.

The donkey understood it was a trap. It shook off the fox from his body, and he started running.

The lion, and the fox tried to chase him, but the donkey was too fast, because he was running for his dear life. The donkey dashed through the trees, past bushes, and over streams, running until he was far, far away from the lion’s den.

The donkey finally stopped to catch his breath. “Phew! That was close!” he said. “I guess I should be more careful next time. Not everyone nice to me is really my friend.”

From that day on, the donkey was extra careful and never trusted the fox’s tricky words again.
