Daisy, the baby duck, was in the lake, practicing her newly acquired swimming lessons from her dear mother. The baby duck paddled with her little legs to swim around.
Suddenly, Daisy noticed some movement from a rock, but couldn’t understand what it was. Upon closer look, Daisy saw an alligator slowly moving towards her from the rock.
Daisy was not unaware of the presence of the alligator because the alligator can stay still like a rock as long as he wants.
Noticing Daisy zipping away, Gus the alligator tried to make her calm. “Where are you going, little duck?” he called out, trying to catch up.
Daisy didn’t listen to the alligator. Because her mother told me to stay away from strangers, especially alligators. She swam away from the alligator. She well knows that being near an alligator could cost her life.
