Solving A Water Crisis

Look at that dam thing

It had been a long, long summer. A sudden drought gripped the forest, and the only river had dried up completely. All the animals were desperately searching for water, especially the hippos, who couldn't survive without water to cool their bodies.

King Lion summoned his minister, Jingo the elephant.

"Jingo, what will we do now? The river is drying up, and we're left with no other option but to leave this place," the King said.

"Your Majesty, I have an idea," Jingo replied. "Let's go to the top of the mountain and see if there's still water there. The river is fed by the water from the mountain."

"That's a great idea! Let's go," said King Lion.

Both Jingo and the King began to climb the hill. It was an uphill task, but after a few hours of climbing, they made it to the top of the mountain.

"See, Your Majesty, there's plenty of water here! I think something in between is blocking the water's flow to the river," Jingo observed.

"Okay, let's go and find out what's blocking the water," said the Lion.

They scanned the area. Jingo spotted something strange: it was a dam diverting the water from the mountain. "Who built this dam here?" the King asked.

"Let's wait here for a while and see who comes to maintain the dam," Jingo suggested.

They waited and waited, and both even managed to take a short nap. Hearing a strange sound, Jingo woke up. "Hey, Your Majesty, wake up! The dam engineers are here," Jingo whispered.

A group of beavers had assembled there, discussing the dam. Jingo and the King jumped into their midst, catching the beavers red-handed.

"Why are you building this dam? Your dam is blocking all the water to the river, and the animals are suffering! Demolish it at once, or Jingo will do it for you," the King declared.

"We are sorry, Your Majesty," the beavers said in unison. "We weren't aware that the dam was causing such an issue. We will demolish our dam and build it elsewhere."

The dam was immediately demolished by the beavers, and the water began to flow freely into the river. Back in the forest, all the animals were happy, drinking and playing in the water. They praised their King and minister for the smart move that brought water back to the river.
