The Bird Cleaning The Crocodile Teeth

"Your teeth are quite yellowish and need a good cleaning," the bird chirped to the crocodile.

"Wow, if you could clean my teeth, I'd be so happy and grateful!" the crocodile replied, beaming.

"Open your mouth wide," instructed the bird. "Let me go inside and pluck out all the waste. Please don't shut your mouth until I'm finished."

"Of course, I won't shut my mouth until you're done," promised the crocodile.

The bird began to clean the crocodile's teeth. There was indeed plenty of waste lodged between them. As the bird plucked it out, she ate every bit. What seemed like a kind service was actually the bird collecting her dinner! And the crocodile's teeth got cleaned.
