The Sneaky Tiger's Big Mistake

A sneaky tiger wandered into a busy village. He didn't want anyone to see him! If the people found out a tiger was around, there would be a big fuss, and he’d be in trouble.

The tiger tiptoed softly on his big paws, hoping to find an easy snack like a chicken or, if he was very lucky, a cow.

He spotted a small tree and decided it was a great hiding spot. He climbed up and tucked himself in behind the green leaves, waiting quietly. "If anything walks by," he thought, "I'll jump down and surprise it!"

A few hours went by, and the tiger felt sleepy. He took a little nap right there on the branch.

When he opened his eyes, he saw something wonderful! A big, gentle cow was resting right under his tree.

"Yes! Today is my lucky day!" the tiger whispered. He jumped down with a thump right onto the cow.

But the cow was quick! It sensed danger and started to run away. The tiger chased after it! He forgot all about being sneaky and that he was still in the village.

Suddenly, the villagers saw the big tiger chasing their cow! "A tiger! Run!" they shouted. The people grabbed sticks and stones and started throwing them toward the tiger to protect their farm animals.

Bonk! Thud! Some of the stones hit the tiger. Ouch!

The tiger realized he was surrounded by angry people and was already hurt. He quickly turned around and ran as fast as he could, all the way back to the safety of the deep, green forest. He learned a very important lesson that day: villages are not good places for a tiger to hunt!
