In a field so green it looked like a giant, soft blanket, lived a little grey rabbit. The rabbit loved green grass, crisp carrots, and being very, very quick. The little leaper was usually hopping from one patch of clover to the next, its nose twitching with excitement.
One sunny day, the rabbit was enjoying a juicy leaf when a shadow fell over it.
Thump. Thump.
The rabbit looked up, and its big ears shot straight up like two fuzzy antennae! Towering over it was a huge, bright orange cat with beautiful dark spots, like chocolate chips scattered on a sunset. This was a leopard. The leopard wasn't from around here; it was on a grand adventure.
The rabbit froze. It was ready to zoom into its cozy burrow! But the leopard looked scary. Its big, round eyes seemed curious and hungry.
"What are you doing here, bunny?" asked the leopard.
"Me, I...I am playing with my friends a game of hide-and-seek. You know, nobody can beat me in hide-and-seek," said the rabbit.
The leopard took it as a challenge. "I can find you wherever you go and hide," said the leopard.
"Ok, here I go. Find me if you can!" said the rabbit and disappeared. He went into a rabbit hole. The leopard searched for the rabbit everywhere, but couldn't find it. So he returned home disappointed. The rabbit who was safely in the rabbit hold told his friends how he fooled the leopard.
