Overly Concerned Jack The Fox

duck and the fox story
Hey, watchout. Ther is danger on your way!

On lazy afternoon, Jack the fox was walking in search of something to eat. Jack saw Susan the duck was swas watched Susan the duck swimming all by herself. Susan had just had a big argument with her husband Freddy and wanted some time alone.

“Ah, this might be a good chance to catch that duck,” Jack the fox thought slyly.

“Hey, Ms. Duck! There are some duck hunters on their way. You should hide in the bushes. They’re in their boat and getting closer. I can help you hide,” Jack the fox called out to Susan.

Hey, come back!

Susan trusted Jack and started swimming toward the shore. Just then, she heard a loud quack, quack from behind. It was her husband Freddy, who had been following her from a distance.

“Hey, Susan! That tricky fox is trying to fool you. There are no duck hunters! He just wants to lure you to the land so he can catch you. Come back, let’s go home,” shouted Freddy.

Susan realized how silly she had been to listen to the fox. She remembered her mother’s warnings about foxes, who would try every sneaky trick to catch innocent ducks. Susan swam quickly back to Freddy. She thanked him for his timely warning. Jack the fox, who had lost his chance, stomped away, grumbling and muttering about the clever ducks who had spoiled his plan.

And from that day on, Susan always stayed close to Freddy and remembered to be very careful of sly foxes.
