“Hey, little one. Stay close to me and don’t get distracted. You will see many beautiful thins on your way, but stay with me,” said the hippo mother gently.
The hippo family was on an adventure to find a new pond. Hippo dad had gone ahead of them. Their old pond had dried up under the hot summer sun, so they needed a better place to spend their day. Together, they set off in search of a cool, refreshing pond where they could splash and play all day long.
On the way, the baby hippo saw many beautiful things. Butterflies flew around colorful flowers, and elephant babies played joyfully in the distance. But the baby hippo remembered his mother’s words and stayed close to her, never getting distracted.
After a long journey, the hippo family finally found a perfect pond. The water was cool and clear, and there were plenty of shady trees around. The baby hippo was so happy! He splashed into the water with a big grin, and his mother smiled proudly.
“See, little one? It was worth it to stay focused,” she said.
The hippo family spent the rest of the day happily playing in their new pond, grateful for their adventure and the beautiful place they now called home.
