Playing Hide-And-Seek

Nobody could beat Chiku, the monkey in the hide-and-seek game. One day, Chiku was playing hide-and-seek with a rabbit. Chiku counted one, two, three…., to let the rabbit hide.

After counting fast, Chiku climbed a big tree to see where the rabbit was hiding. That was his secret of winning hide-and-seek game. From the top of the tree, he could easily find out where the rabbit was hiding. Looking around, he saw a shocking scene. A tiger was coming on their way. Chiku saw the rabbit hiding on the tiger’s path. He wanted to help the rabbit who was hiding inside a bush. .

Chiku plucked a mango from the tree and threw it into a nearby pond. The tiger was distracted by the sound and went in that direction. Using that opportunity, Chiku descended the tree, grabbed the rabbit, and climbed again. Everything was over in a matter of seconds.

“Hey, what are you doing?” asked the surprised rabbit who was on the top of the tree sitting with Chiku.

“Look at that. A tiger was coming straight to you. I somehow distracted the tiger and grabbed you. In fact, I was saving you from the tiger,” said the monkey.

When the rabbit looked down, he saw the tiger roaming around.

“Oh, my god! Chiku, you saved me from the tiger. Thank you very much,” said the rabbit.  “No problem. We will go down after the tiger goes away. Until then, let’s play here,” Chiku said.
