The Croc With One Tooth Missing

One day, as the baby elephant was playing in the river, he was dragged by a crocodile. But the baby elephant was strong and cried loudly. The croc left the baby elephant and swam deep into the river.

The baby elephant went to his mother and told her what just happened.

“Don’t worry, baby. We will find who dragged your feet. Let’s wait here hiding behind the trees,” consoled the elephant mother.

“Hey, stop there. Are you the one who tried to drag my baby into the water?” asked the furious elephant mother.

“No, madam, you are mistaken. I won’t do such bad things. I love children, especially baby elephants. Then how can I do such a thing to your son?” said the croc.

The elephant had no clue who tried to harm his boy.

“Hey, Mom, this is the Croc who tried to harm me,” the elephant’s son came running and said.

“Are you sure he is the one?” asked the elephant to his son.

“Yes, I am sure. I saw the croc who dragged me has a tooth missing,” said the baby elephant.

“Hey, croc, open your mouth,” asked the elephant.

“The croc reluctantly opened its mouth. The baby elephant started counting the crocodile’s teeth. Mom, he is the one. Look he has one tooth missing,” said the elephant.

The elephant was angry at the croc. The elephant took the croc by its tail and threw it away. Nobody has ever seen the croc again.
