Lion And The Rat

One day, a lion was sleeping inside a cave. He was woken up by a chattering sound. When the annoyed lion opened its eyes, he saw a small rat running across the cave. He immediately grabbed the rat by its tail.

"How dare you are to disturb a lion's sleep?" asked the angry lion

"I am sorry, Mr.Lion. I meant not to do any harm to you. I was unaware that you were sleeping inside. A cat was chasing me to this cave. That is why I am here," said the rat.

"Ok, I am going to kill you. Do you have any last wish?" asked the rat.

"Yes, Mr. Lion. Please allow me to pray," said the rat.

"Ok, your last wish is granted," said the lion.

The rat started praying. "Oh God, please have mercy on the lion. This poor lion has no idea what he is up to," prayed the rat.

"Hey, what are you praying," asked the confused lion.

"I was praying for you. If you kill me, you will die," said the rat.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" asked the lion.

It's no-nonsense, Mr. Lion. You are free to test yourself by killing me. Please remember that if you kill me, the next day, you will die. Last time, it happened to another lion, who got crushed under a big rock because he killed a rat," said the rat.

The lion was afraid of what the rat said. "Ok, I am leaving you. It's not because I believe in you, but I don't want to eat a rat," said the lion

"Thank you, Mr. Lion," said the rat and left the place immediately. The lion started sleeping again. In the sleep, he had a bad dream. A big rock was coming to him. The lion started running, shouting all the way. "I didn't kill the rat, I didn't kill the rat."

"Hey, dear, what's the matter? Why are you shouting?" asked the lioness, who came from outside. "Oh, nothing. I just had a bad dream," said the lion.,
