Lonely Baby Elephant

The baby elephant found himself separated from his mother and the rest of the herd. Feeling lost, he started crying loudly. A monkey perched on a nearby tree noticed the distressed calf.

"Hey, little one, why are you crying?" asked the monkey.

"I can't find my way back home," sobbed the baby elephant.

"Don't worry, I can help you. I'll search for your mother and herd by jumping through the trees," said the monkey.

The monkey swiftly swung from branch to branch, scanning the forest. Just a few trees away, he spotted the herd frantically searching for the missing calf.

"Hey! Your baby is safe a short distance away," called out the monkey. "Follow me—I will lead you to him!"

Jumping from tree to tree, the monkey guided the herd to the stranded baby. As soon as his mother saw him, she ran over and wrapped her trunk around him in a warm hug.

The entire herd thanked the monkey for his kindness and gave him a big bunch of ripe bananas as a token of appreciation. The monkey carried his reward home and shared it with his family and friends. Everyone was happy.
