Let's Not Argue

Why we were fighting?

The tiger and the bear were the best of friends. One sunny afternoon, they were playing by the river.

"This is the best river in the whole world!" roared the tiger.

"Oh no," grumbled the bear. "I saw another river, and it was much better! It had the smoothest rocks for sunbathing!"

And so, the friends began to argue. "My river has the tastiest fish!" roared the tiger.

"My river has the coolest mud for wallowing!" grumbled the bear.

Their voices got louder and louder, until they were shouting at each other. Soon, they started to push and shove, and before they knew it, they were tumbling and rolling around in the grass.

Finally, they both landed with a thump, too tired to even move. After a while, the tiger groaned and opened his eyes. "What happened?" he mumbled.

The bear, who was just waking up, shook his head. "I don't remember. Did we have a picnic? Did we play hide-and-seek?"

The tiger scratched his head. "I can't remember either! What were we even arguing about?"

They both looked at each other, feeling a little silly. "I think we were arguing about which river was the best," the tiger said slowly.

The bear laughed. "Silly us! Both rivers are wonderful in their own way."

From that day on, the tiger and the bear learned a valuable lesson. Arguments can be silly and sometimes make you forget what you were even fighting about. It was much more fun to play together and enjoy the beautiful day.
