Leo and the Secret Surprise

I need a toy

One sunny afternoon, a curious lion cub named Leo was pouncing on butterflies in the tall, golden grass. Suddenly, he spotted a pair of long, fuzzy ears poking up from a bush. It was Rosie the Rabbit.

"Hi there! Who are you?" Leo asked, his tail twitching with excitement.

"I’m Rosie," the bunny replied with a friendly twitch of her nose. "I’m just passing through the savanna. I’m heading to the forest market to go shopping for my bunnies."

Leo’s eyes grew wide. "Oh! Since you’re going to the market, would you bring a toy back for me?"

"I’d be happy to, Leo," said Rosie. "What kind of toy are you looking for?"

Leo thought hard, tapping his chin with a fuzzy paw. "I want a talking lion toy! That way, when my family is napping, I’ll have a best friend to share my secrets with."

Rosie nodded and hopped away. A few hours later, she returned carrying a beautiful gift wrapped in a big green leaf. Leo carefully opened it and gasped. Inside was a soft, golden lion plushie with a big, silky orange mane and bright button eyes. When Leo squeezed its paw, it let out a tiny, friendly meow-roar!

Leo was so overjoyed that he did a little happy dance. He hugged his new friend tight and looked at Rosie with a big smile. "Thank you, Rosie! This is the best gift ever!"
