One hot afternoon, a big, dusty elephant stomped down to the river for a cool drink. As he dipped his trunk into the water, a tiny fish popped its head up.
"Whoa there!" the fish squeaked, waving a fin. "Are you planning to drink the whole river? What will be left for me?"
The elephant let out a deep, rumbly laugh that made the water ripple.
"Don't you worry, little friend," the elephant smiled. "This river is giant, and my tummy is only so big. There is plenty of water for both of us to share."
The fish did a happy flip in the water, and the elephant took a long, refreshing sip. From that day on, they were the best of friends.
