Entertaining Elle, The Elephant Baby

Little Elle the elephant was sitting all by herself. Her mommy had gone to work, and Elle was supposed to play, but she felt a little sad. Her tiny trunk was drooping, and she was making little whimpering sounds.

Suddenly, a playful monkey swung down from a tree! He saw Elle's sad face and wanted to cheer her up.

"Hey, Elle!" the monkey chattered. "Look at this! Can I make a flower appear from thin air?"

Elle looked up, her big eyes wide.

"Poof!" said the monkey, and suddenly, he was holding a bright, beautiful flower! "Here you go!" he said, smiling.

Elle giggled! She reached out her little trunk and gently took the flower. It smelled so sweet!

The monkey did more silly tricks! He made leaves dance in the air, and he pretended to pull bananas out of his ears. Elle laughed and clapped her hands. She wasn't sad anymore!

The monkey and Elle played together until it was time for Elle's mommy to come home. They had so much fun, and they became the best of friends!
