The Brave Little Elephant

I’m having a wonderful day today! I just moved to a new home with my mom, and I wish every day could feel this happy. Sometimes it feels like the fun times fly by like a breeze, while the tough times move as slow as a snail, but right now, everything is perfect. I love to play—don't you think playing with a baby elephant would be the best adventure ever?

Right now, I’m still little. I know that when I grow up to be a big, strong elephant, I might look a bit scary to some people. But I have a secret: I’m a gentle giant, and I’d never want to hurt anyone.

"Hey, where did my mom go? Oh, there she is!"

You know, I actually got lost once. I lost track of where I was, and I felt so small and scared. I stayed in one spot and cried and cried, hoping she’d hear me. Finally, my mom found me! I was so happy to see her that I couldn't stop my happy tears. I learned my lesson that day—I’m going to stay right by her side from now on.
