The Unexpected Visitor

“Hey, what are you doing here?” asked the elephant when it saw an unexpected visitor, a dog.

“I lost my way back home. I can’t find the path,” said the dog.

“Don’t worry, friend, I will definitely help you out. But it’s already late. I won’t let you go today, as it is dangerous walking at night. It’s time for the wild predators to come out for hunting. You better stay with me tonight, and I will help you reach your home tomorrow morning,” said the elephant.

Happy Time Together

The dog stayed that night with the elephant. The elephant told him some exciting stories about the elephants in the wild and how they live.

The dog shared some dog stories too. How the dogs help people by working as rescue dogs. It was a great night for the dog and the elephant to spend together, sharing amazing stories. They talked about many things by lying under the starry sky.

The next day, the dog woke up early in the morning. But the elephant was still sleeping. The dog asked the elephant how he could go back. The elephant was happy to help him out. The elephant put the little dog on his back and started walking to the village. After a long walk, they reached the village border.

“It’s not good for me to enter the village, as people will be panicking seeing an elephant in their village. Here you go,” said the elephant placing the dog carefully on the ground.

“Thank you very much for your hospitality and the help. I enjoyed your company last night. We will meet again,” said the dog.

“You are most welcome, my dear friend. Come to my place, and we’ll have a good time together again,” said the elephant. The dog said goodbye and ran towards the village. The elephant returned to his place with a happy mind because he could help the dog reach its home.
