Pay Your Bath Fee

"Hey, Mr. Elephant, listen to me before you step into the water," called the crocodile. The elephant had just arrived at the riverbank, eager for a cool bath after a long, scorching summer afternoon.

"I’m all ears. Tell me," replied the elephant.

"You have to pay a fee to enter the river. Any animal who comes here to take bath in the river has to pay a bath fee," said the crocodile.

"And what if I don't?" asked the elephant.

"If you don't pay, the other crocodiles lurking in the river will drag you under, and you'll be dead," warned the croc.

"Alright, I'll pay your fee. Here you go," said the elephant.

With that, the elephant wrapped his trunk around the crocodile, lifted him high into the air, and hurled him far away. Then, he stepped peacefully into the river and enjoyed his long-awaited bath.
