Finding Stream Of Life

Once upon a time, a baby elephant was feeling sad. His friend, the little monkey, noticed and asked, “Why are you so sad?”

The baby elephant sighed and said, “All the water in the river has dried up. My mom says we have to move far away to find a new water source, but the journey will be long and hard.”

The monkey thought for a moment and then smiled. “Don’t worry! I know a special place where you can find fresh, clear water. I’ll show you the way!”

The monkey climbed onto the baby elephant’s back, and they set off together. Before long, they reached a small, sparkling stream. The baby elephant took a big, refreshing sip and beamed with happiness. “This water is so cool and sweet! Thank you for helping me find it!”

After having a good drink, the baby elephant hurried back to his family. His mother and the other elephants were so relieved to see the missing baby elephant. “Where did you go?” his mom asked, worried.

“I have great news!” the baby elephant trumpeted joyfully. “I found a stream with pure, sweet water!”

The whole elephant herd was thrilled. “Show us!” they said. So the baby elephant led his family to the special stream, and all the elephants drank happily. They thanked the baby elephant for leading them there.

But the baby elephant shook his head. “I didn’t find it alone,” he said, pointing to his friend, the little monkey, who was perched on a tree nearby.

All the elephants lifted their trunks and thanked the monkey, who waved happily in return. And from that day on, the elephants and the monkey stayed the best of friends, sharing the water and looking out for each other.
